PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
WALMARK CEMENT PUTTY is a combination of high quality white Portland cement, natural minerals & special additives. SURFACE PREPARATION
1. Plaster :
New masonry surfaces must be allowed to cure completely. It is recommended to allow 28 days
as the curing time for new masonry surfaces.
2. Cleaning :
Ensure the surface is completely free from all dirt, loosely held plaster, powdery residue, oil grease or any other contamination. Any previous growth of fungus, algae or moss needs to be removed thoroughly by vigorous wire brushing and cleaning with water.
3. Filling the Cracks, Holes & Dents :
For filling cracks upto 3mm, holes and dents use WALMARK CEMENT PUTTY. For Interior surfaces or substrates that are subjected to continuous seepage or dampness, kindly gets the repairs done before the application.
4. Mixing Ratio :
Dilute one kg of WALMARK CEMENT PUTTY with 400-450 ml of clean potable water, mixed with carefully with hand or by specially equipment available in market. Wait for 10 minutes & apply with putty knife/Trowel or Thapi. Don’t over dilute WALMARK CEMENT PUTTY.
5. Coverage :
When mixed to proper consistency, approx. 10-12 sq.feet per kg. for upto 1.0-1.2 mm thickness in 2 coats. Coverage depends on surface condition/preparation and varies according to texture, suction / porosity of the surface, method of application and thickness of coat. For abundant precaution, an initial trial may be undertaken to determine covering capacity on very rough or abnormal surface.
6. Available Pack Sizes :
The pack sizes available for WALMARK CEMENT PUTTY are 20 Kg and 05 Kg poly bags and 40 Kg for projects.

HANDLING & STORAGE :
Keep sacks airtight during handling and storage to avoid loss of material. Store WALMARK CEMENT PUTTY in a cool dry place and also protect it from extreme climatic conditions during storage, in transit and at site.
SAFETY MEASURES :
Kindly refer to the MSDS for WALMARK CEMENT PUTTY which gives detailed information on safety measures while handling the paint, which is available on request.
Store the material in a cool, dry place. Keep out of reach of children and away from eatables.
May be harmful if swallowed. In case of ingestion seek immediate medical attention. In case of skin contact immediately wash skin with soap and plenty of water. Get medical attention if irritation develops or persists.
Wear eye protection during application. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Do not breathe vapor or spray. It is recommended to wear suitable nose pad during sanding and surface preparation to avoid dust inhalation.
Do not pour leftover paint down the drain or in watercourses.
In the event of spills, contain spillage using sand or earth.
POST PAINTING CARE :
It is important to apply a coat of PRIMER (EXT/INT) over WALMARK CEMENT PUTTY WALL PUTTY before application of emulsion.
